ChicoMadre & the Little Pussycats of Firenze

by Lavi Vanounou

A comic look into the mind of a lavish thrill-seeking Mossad agent. In the year 2006, after the end of the second Lebanon War, Israel makes a hasty decision to put out a contract on the lives of five wealthy Hezbollah affiliates residing in Europe. Agent “Chico” – a 30-something Mossad agent that peruses an eccentric and expensive lifestyle with his Italian girlfriend in the city of Florence – is assigned for the job. Chico is elated to exploit the European assassination mission as his pre-Christmas shopping spree, but surprising turns of events awaken his dormant conscience and draw him to personal reflection of his life and profession. As the pressure grows, his mind begins to play tricks on him, and he drifts into a dream-like state mind, involving musical encounters and talking cats. Will he survive this mission and get promoted, or end-up like one of his contracts?
