I knew better than to take my old boss at his word. I should have checked into things a lot more thoroughly before taking the wedding photographer contract. But it was cold here in Michigan, and an out-of-state trip to a private island destination sounded really good. Live and learn. Of course, being stuck on a locked down private island with nowhere to run and a killer on the loose, the live part of that equation wasn’t exactly guaranteed. A little of the famous Ravenswind magic would go a long way. Too bad it had passed me by.
