Hotel on the Edge: Sci-Fi Adventure Thriller by Alex Tur

Alex remembers the guardrail, the weightlessness, and then nothing at all. He wakes on a ledge above the ocean, unhurt, beside a building that appears on no map and offers no road out.

By morning a woman with a sidearm arrests him and takes him inside.

The guests here find nothing strange about the place. The staff aren’t quite staff. Doors hold grudges, rooms rearrange themselves overnight, and somebody has been using this hotel to sort people — screening them, grading them, filing them away.

By the time Alex works out what he’s being sorted for, walking away has stopped being an option.

A psychological thriller with a surreal edge: cinematic pacing, dark humor, and a puzzle that keeps rearranging itself. Book One of five.
