Oath of the Osprey by Lee Davis Jr.

A stolen child. A murdered brother. One oath left to keep.

Douglas Cooper is a University of Florida anthropology professor who was never meant to be a hero. But when his brother is murdered while investigating the disappearance of thirteen-year-old Joon, Doug follows the trail he left behind and uncovers a trafficking network that treats human lives as inventory.

He will not do it alone.

What begins as one man’s desperate mission draws together an unlikely ensemble cast of friends and allies who become the heart of the story. As the danger closes in, their friendship, loyalty, courage, and chemistry are tested in ways none of them expected.

Oath of the Osprey is a character-driven suspense thriller about ordinary people choosing to do extraordinary things when a child is in danger.
